·    In the future, technology which integrates clinical, administrative and financial data may be initiated to develop healthcare policies and a selection of healthcare cases can be used from the database to test the policy.  (U.S. Patent No. 828,055, 2012).

·    These systems can support decision makers by guiding the allocation of resources in a patient-specific manner and applied in conjunction with user models to guide alerting (U.S. Patent No. 828,055, 2012).
